Training is twice a week:
Tuesdays: 6 pm - 7.30 pm
Thursdays: 8.15 pm - 9.45 pm

The venue is the Gym in the Old Sports Hall.

Sessions will in general follow this pattern:

Warm Up
Although students are encouraged to limber up on their own before class, the instructor will lead them in a warm-up which includes stretching, aerobic exercises, isometric exercises, and callisthenics.
Kihon
fundamentals: the basic techniques of blocking, kicking, and punching.
Kihon Kumite
Basic sparring at which time karate-ka practice kihon (basics) with a partner.
Kata
Katas are a pattern of movements which contains a series of logical attacking and blocking techniques.
Jiyu Kumite
Free sparring (for more experienced students).
Cool Down
The few minutes remaining at the end of the class are spent on cool down exercises, including stretching.

For new members we don't expect any experience and you can train in a tracksuit and t-shirt.

Prices for the year are:
Student: €25
Staff: €25 + Administration Fee (€9.50) + Insurance (€6.50) Total: €41
Outsider (Unwaged): €25 + Administration Fee (€9.50) + Insurance (€6.50) Total: €41
Outside (Waged): €25 + Administration Fee (€19) + Insurance (€6.50) Total: €50.50
